Active Shooter/Threat Emergency response training:

Service team responsibilities - stop/contain

Safety team responsibilities - evacuate

Medical responsibilities – triage & medical

Communications – Service & Safety team, Medical, 911 (LE & EMS)

 Legal/Documentation


Service Team training:

Threat assessment, safe weapons handling under stress, In-house tactical response, PCM

(Physical Confrontation Management), physical controls, edged weapon awareness,

containment, entry & room clearing, legal implications of using force/deadly force.


Safety Team :

“Special needs” assistance, triage and handling, communications


Medical:

Triage, first aid, CPR & AED (automated external defibrillator)


Communications:

In-house Service & Safety teams, information gathering, emergency assessment, dispatch

protocol, relay/communicate with EMS and LE.


Legal / LE liaison:

In-house legal, debrief and information exchange, documentation
